Job Description

Max-Migold Ltd is urgently recruiting for the post of Plumbing technician for a site at Eket, Akwa-Ibom. The candidate must be multidisciplinary in building maintenance, and have professional knowledge in facility maintenance with cogent experience in a wide range of specific plumbing tasks.

Responsibilities:

    • Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
    • Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
    • Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
    • Handling job queries and quick responses to client call-outs.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving problems on short notice.
    • Preparing cost estimates for repair work.
    • Reading and interpreting blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts.
    • Ensuring safe work practices and building compliance with safety and quality regulations.
    • Fitting and repairing various facility plumbing appliances.
    • Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
    • implementing and carry-out preventative maintenance procedures.
    • Managing plumbing systems to guarantee full functionality.
    • Cutting, welding, and assembling PPR pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures during installation and repair works.

Requirements:

    • 2-3 years experience in similar job role.
    • Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
    • Effective problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
