Mechanical/HVAC Technician

Job Description

Max-Migold Ltd is urgently recruiting for the post of Mechanical/HVAC Technician for a site at Eket, Akwa-Ibom. The candidate must be multidisciplinary in building maintenance, have a professional knowledge in facility maintenance with cogent experience in a wide range of electrical power and control job skills.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical and HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
• Follow blueprints, technical manuals, and specifications to complete tasks.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in mechanical engineering or HVAC technology
• Relevant licenses or certifications in mechanical or HVAC systems
• Extensive experience in mechanical and HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, and controls
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
